Riley - The boy wins second place trophy!!
Riley's first AKC show, he takes 2nd place!!
WOW!! Riley won second place at his first ever
competition and it was a shock and pleasant
surprise to everyone from our training club.
He did something that I have never seen him
do before which cost him 3 points. On his recall
(where I sit him on a spot and go out 30 feet
then call him) he has to come in and sit right
in front of me. He did everything perfect until
the sit, he decided to stand there instead.
Because of that, he got 2nd place by ½
point. He finished with a 189½ and the
winning dog (another Lab) got a 190.
I was (and still am) so proud of him, he did absolutely
wonderful and his brother was no slouch either,
he finished with a 186 because on the recall,
he did it right but when he was supposed to
finish around me, he sat directly behind me
instead of coming all the way around to my left
side.

Well our boys got their CD and in grand Style!!!! Casey got first place and Riley
got second place!
