RSS Creator & Updater

Well, now that I have been using RSS for about a year or so, it is time to get my own website up and going with an RSS feed.

Since the content management system that I am using is me (Dreamweaver, FrontPage, TextPad, etc., do not automatically create RSS feeds), I am using is RSS Headliner to create the first time page and RSS Updater to make regular updates.

Hopefully I will be able to continue this so you all can find out what is new with the entire site.

Till next time, keep your eyes on the sky and your feet on the ground.

The Sith Sense & 20 Questions

Ever Play 20 Questions?  Well this digital version goes one step further and has you play against Darth Vader!!

The first time I played, it took Darth Vader 23 questions to get it right (but then again I was thinking of a school exam) but the next time it only took 14 questions to guess that I was thinking of a cherry tomato.  Check it out… you may want to click the “Music On” button at the bottom right, it gets annoying after a bit.

Loads of fun!!! The Sith Sense

Wireless Securtity and Debunking The Myth's

The six dumbest ways to secure a wireless LAN by George Ou -- For the last three years, I've been meaning to put to rest once and for all the urban legends and myths on wireless LAN security. Every time I write an article or blog on wireless LAN security, someone has to come along and regurgitate one of these myths. If that weren't bad enough, many "so [...]

So go there and read up on it and make sure you secure your wirless with the latest WPA your hardware can support. For GOD sake man, if your hardware does not have WPA2 support throw that $10 piece of shit out and get some new stuff.

Lightscribe DVD Burner

Looking into getting a Lightscribe DVD burner and this one has outstanding reviews plus it is one of the cheapest on the market.  Hell you really can’t go wrong, I mean HP invented the technology, right?

Pick one of these up tomorrow at the office.

Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File

After just being annoyed with inline ads that take up tons of space on many site throughout the Internet these days, I decided to enhance my host file.  I have done this in the past but simply forgot to do it with my new computer.

Kind’of a good thing that I did though, stumbled across this page which is updated quite regularly and now I will have a mark for it.  Enjoy and stay safe on the web.
