Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick’s day from here in the States. Thursday was actually the St. Patrick’s day and I had obedience training with the dogs. Tonight Friday, we had a St. Patrick’s Day party at our friends Bob & Nancy’s house.

Another thing, how about March Madness!! Tonight, we have 2 big upsets (and of course none of them were my beloved Illinois).

The biggest shocker of the tourney so far, #14 Bucknell over #3 Kansas by a score of 64–63.

Gotta run for now, it is after 1:00 AM.

If I would have filled this out a year and a half ago, it would have been completely different. My life has changed dramatically over that time and you only have to look at my photos to figure out why. I grew up with little so I learned to appreciate everything, in that, I was able to understand what it was to be the one that was poor, picked on and made fun of. When I joined the Marine Corps, I decided that was no longer who I was and my life has never been the same since then. In 2007 my life changed forever again when my son was born and the focus of my life once again was altered. Since December 2007, I have never had a day when I did not count down the minutes till I could go home and see Michael and see what wonderful things Leslie and he did that day. What a miracle a child is and what joy they bring to your life. Looking at his face and seeing my own is such a blessing that I thought I would never get to enjoy, I am truly blessed!
