Neighborhood Pool Party

Today was the neighborhood pool party at our very good friend Paul & Noreen's house. It is one of the events that everyone in the neighborhood looks forward to for much of the summer. As usual, Leslie and I went and spent much of the day and most of the night there. The difference with this one is that when we left, I threw my wife over my shoulder and said, "Let's go, you're coming with me!"

It is always nice though because we get a chance to meet some new people in the neighborhood as well as seeing and talking to many of the people you just see when you are driving by with the quick wave and a smile.

Strange thing though about Paul & Noreen's party this year, we have our "official" block party in just 2 weeks to the day. Oh well, I guess I will just have to talk to different people at that party. Till next time, I have had too much to drink and need to take a nap before Sunday :)
